Help The Dimmitt Family: Children in Critical Condition

Donation protected
Brittany & Tommy Dimmitt, along with their 4 children (Amelia, Kora, Thomson, and Kristine) have been through one trial after another for the last year. After many complications with Brittany's pregnancy, which resulted in multiple procedures, a few weeks staying in the hospital, and terrifying complications, their youngest was born at 25 weeks and spent over 140 days in the NICU last summer. With three other very active children at home, those months were difficult, balancing what was best for the baby and the rest of the family. When she finally came home, she was still on a feeding tube, but the family was excited to be under the same roof at last!

But the difficulties didn't end there. Around Christmas, Tommy suffered from an infection that prevented him from even being able to walk, let alone work to provide for his family.

Just when he was prepared to go back to work, their two youngest children, Thomson and Kristine, were admitted to Mott Children's Hospital this weekend with extreme cases of Human Metapneumovirus. Both children are on high-flow oxygen and in critical condition. Thomson, who just celebrated his 4th birthday last month, is usually an energetic kid and was so strong while his little sister got evaluated and cared for before him. Kristine, who has already spent 5 months of her little life in the hospital, is back on her NG tube and sedated while they treat her and give her time to rest. This has been the scariest and most heartbreaking time for Brittany and the whole family.

The kids are in good hands but are in desperate need of all the prayers, hope, love, and healing that you can offer as they are not seeing any improvements for either child yet.

If you're able to help the Dimmitt family to meet their financial needs or share their story to help them during this time, it is so appreciated. After everything they've been through, I hope the community can ease some of their burden of covering food, gas, medical bills, and other bills and necessities so they can focus on healing and getting back on their feet.

Thank you for everything you're able to do. This family is the most deserving family I know and has stayed so strong through so much this year. Please send them hope and healing thoughts during this time!
