Help the Diehl's rebuild after losing their home
Donation protected
Some of our best friends lost their home, car, and all belongings in the tragic Marshall Fire in Louisville on December 30th, 2021. Thankfully Ben and Christine Diehl, along with their two kids (13 and 12 yrs old), are all safe. They were visiting family in North Carolina and flew home that night and never had a chance to retrieve anything personal or valuable. Thankfully their neighbor was able to rescue their dog (Oscar) before the fire hit.
They have handled the entire situation with such grace and gratitude and fully understand that family and friends are the most important thing in their lives. We know, however, that they are starting completely over. The only possessions they have are what's in their suitcases. We are asking for donations through this site.
The Diehl family are some of the most humble, hardworking, caring, loyal, and fun-loving people you'll ever meet. We are just trying to help them out any way possible. This fundraiser was set up by the Laird family and friends who live in the area and love them dearly. We hope your contributions will allow them to begin the long process of rebuilding a new life. The funds will be used to help pay for temporary accommodations, a new car, clothing, personal needs, and whatever else they may need in the near future. Thanks in advance for your generosity.
