Help the Di Francesco Family get back on their feet

Hello,

My name is Maya and I'm writing on behalf of our family the Di Francescos. It's myself, my husband and our little 4 year old daughter, soon to be a sister.

Durning the Eaton fires our beloved home and artist loft burned to the ground. Our family was outrageously lucky and was able to move most of our things out to Pasadena just days before, but we were immediately evacuated again and have been struggling with the costs. Being pregnant with a second child, we had to be away due to the smoke and ash inside the apartment that we just rented. It's still in the process of cleaning and feels like a task that will be lingering on.

Unfortunately we weren't able to finish the move in time for the fire, some things we lost with it.

Most importantly I have lost my main job due to displacement of clients. I am a pilates teacher and had a steady stream of lovely people each day to teach and connect with.

My community of Altadena where it all began is hurting and eventually we will rebuild, but same as us everyone is suffering. I cannot bring in any income for our family until everyone is in a safe place and housed, and for some there is no timeline for this. This was my day to day, my passion and my favorite job.

We are so fortunate to not have lost everything, but it still feels heartbreaking to have seen our home and work space gone within an instant along with our community of years.

We are asking for a small push to help us, we lost some things in the fire but more than anything we need help to cover the basic needs until we can get back on our feet and back to work.

All help is appreciated, even for gas or groceries, anything to make this a little bit easier. We will be spending the funds on just the basics, healthcare and living costs until I can get back to work full time.
