At the end of August 2020 the DeMello family was displaced from their house because a plumbing/HVAC company didn’t know what they were doing and released asbestos through the whole house. They had to get out until it could  
be cleaned up. 

Because it was released throughout the house they had to dispose of everything that was porous. This included sofa, couch, rugs, window
ACs, new tv, curtains, sleeper sofa, books, toys, blankets, dining room chairs, etc. along with many things they will never be able to replace. It’s heartbreaking for them and their 2 little boys. Well over $100,000 of stuff is gone and needs to be replaced. Insurance won’t cover this because the HVAC company was uninsured and it is considered negligence on behalf of the HVAC company.

The family is looking into suing the company. In the meantime they are finally able to move back in and but have NO HEAT. A new heating system will cost $30,000. 

This on top of everything else going on is a lot to handle for anyone. The priority is getting this family heat as we go into the colder months.
