Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

On September 26th, my brother’s family faced an unimaginable tragedy when Hurricane Helene struck their community. The powerful winds and relentless rain devastated their home, leaving them with a long road ahead.

This family, which includes my 13-year-old niece, a 3-year-old nephew, a 1-year-old nephew, and another baby boy due in December, is heartbroken to share that their house has suffered severe damage, rendering it uninhabitable. As they sift through the rubble of their lives, they face the reality of rebuilding from the ground up. The emotional toll is heavy, but the financial burden is even greater. As they navigate the uncertainty of rebuilding and face rising repair costs, they are reaching out for help.

Through it all, they will hold on to God as their anchor and ultimate restorer. They believe that with faith, hope, and support from our community, they can overcome this challenge.

I’ve set up this GoFundMe to seek support for them. Every dollar raised will go directly towards:

Emergency housing: Finding a safe place for their family to stay while they rebuild.

Basic necessities: Replacing clothing, food, and other essentials that were lost in the storm.
