On August 18, 2021 Jamie was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma In Sitsu (DCIS), a form of breast cancer. Thankfully they found it early.
on October 12 Jamie had a double mastectomy. The surgery and recovery did go well, unfortunately they were not able to remove all of the cancer.
This Tuesday, January 11, Jamie will have her second surgery to remove the remaining cancer and for reconstruction.
We would love to come alongside them, as a community, to help alleviate the financial burdens this may cause their family.
