Christina was taking her 6 year old son, Benjamin, to his first day of school at 7:20 in the morning, when they were suddenly struck by a drunk driver. Christina was hit head on when the driver crossed lanes into oncoming traffic.

Christina was trapped in the drivers seat while Benjamin was crying in pain and fear for his Mommy. This traumatic accident has left Benjamin suffering from emotional stress, a collapsed lung, seatbelt lacerations, and neck pains. He is also autistic and the sensory overload was unbearable. Thankfully, he is now home recovering.

Christina remains in the hospital and has been through insufferable pain, multiple fractures, emotional stress, surgery, and is on her way to physical therapy but it will be a long road.

The accident has rendered the car completely totaled and virtually unrecognizable. Unfortunately, this was their only family car and now have no mode of transportation to take their two sons to school.

In addition, this accident has put dire financial stress on the Dean family.
