The De Leon family, my neighbors, are some of the most hard-working and kind-hearted people I know. Last night, just two days before Christmas, tragedy struck when their house caught on fire. Thankfully, everyone was able to get out safely, but the fire has left them displaced and without a home during what should be a joyful time of year. Right now, they are staying in a hotel with the help of the Red Cross, but the road ahead is uncertain and challenging.
The De Leons have always been there for others, and now they need our support more than ever. The fire not only took away their home, but also many of their belongings and the sense of security that comes with having a place to call your own. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping the De Leon family secure more long-term housing and begin to replace the things they lost in the fire. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference as they work to rebuild their lives.
I am reaching out to our community to come together and help the De Leons get back on their feet. Any and all support is immensely appreciated. Thank you for showing kindness and generosity to a family who truly deserves it.
