Help the Dayment Family After a Tragic Accident
Donation protected
On Sunday, November 9th, Sindy, Peyton, and Scarlett Dayment were involved in a terrible car accident on Route 12 in Fox Lake. They were in the black car you see below.
Sindy was taken to Condell where it was determined that she fractured her shoulder and suffered a compound leg fracture. She has had one surgery, with more to come. Scarlett, the 3-year-old-daughter of Sindy and Josh, was flown to Lutheran General, but thankfully after being checked out was determined to be ok by doctors.
Peyton was taken to Condell, and has also been released. Even though the kids have come through the experience more or less ok physically, it was still a traumatic experience and it's been very difficult for them.
The father, Josh, is a disabled veteran who has been out of work due to his disability. Pictured below is Josh and Scarlett (poorly cropped due to this site's restrictions).
Sindy worked as a school bus driver, and due to the nature of her injury it appears she will be out of work for quite some time. Between normal bills, medical bills, and the upcoming holidays, this family will be in for some tough times. Although only time will heal Sindy's injuries, financial assistance will go a long way toward keeping this family afloat in the upcoming days, weeks, and months.
I'm a friend and neighbor of Josh's, and have gotten to know his family as well. They're good people who have already been going through some tough times. I realize that times are tough all around, but if there's anything you can spare it would be greatly appreciated by the family. Thank you.
