Hello. My name is Melissa and I am raising funds for the Davis family. Their 12-year-old daughter, Kynslee, was diagnosed with leukemia in January of 2024. Right now, believe it or not, her leukemia is the least of their worries.

She has had a lot of complications and surgeries since May. She contracted a fungal infection and pneumonia, and then had 2 aortic aneurysms and had to be taken by ambulance to MUSC in Charleston. Initially, they were told there was nothing they could do and they were not going to be leaving with their daughter. Thankfully, the next day they were told they were going to operate and they were able to get her stable. She has to go back to MUSC in September for another big surgery with some scary possible side effects, but it is what has to happen.

Kynslee's dad is not working right now because someone always has to be with Kynslee. Mom is able to work PRN, but there are a lot of doctor's appointments, and then when they go to MUSC, she won't be able to work for a while.
