Hi, we are Leeland and Mae, and we’re reaching out during one of the most challenging times of our lives. Mae is battling squamous cell carcinoma (SCC)—a form of skin cancer that can metastasize and spread throughout the body, and as such requires quick and decisive treatment. After already enduring multiple rounds of treatments, we never imagined we’d face yet another diagnosis heading into 2024/2025. Yet; here we are, standing together and determined to fight with everything we have.

Mae’s illness has become our primary focus, requiring urgent appointments, treatments, and constant care to stay ahead of this aggressive disease. The financial strain of this battle has left us in need of support to cover 2-3 months of living expenses, allowing us to prioritize Mae’s health and recovery.
