They say hold your loved ones tight because you never know what tomorrow may bring.
Just a few short months ago, unknowingly, my best friend, Hannah Davidson, and her family's lives were about to be turned upside down.
It started out as any illness usually does, minor. Written off as a cold, the flu, etc. Hannah's mother, Denise, just wasn't feeling like herself. When it didn't get better within a couple of weeks, she and her family realized she couldn't work in this condition. She took medical leave from work in March.
Denise's health then took a nose dive. As her illness progressed, she was diagnosed with progressive Dementia.
Fast forward to April 2023, Denise was admitted to the hospital. After many nights, what seemed like a thousand tests, doctors broke the awful news to Denise's family that that she would not be coming home.
Out of respect for Hannah's family, I can not discuss further details.
But what I can do is ask this community to please help Hannah's family. Please help them with medical and travel expenses. Please help them feed themselves and cover their other expenses as they travel back and forth every day to spend as much time as possible with Denise.
All donations will go directly to Hannah and her family.
Thank you.
UPDATE 5-13-23
With heavy hearts, the family announced that a few days ago, Denise went to be with the lord. In her last moments, she was surrounded by her family and so much love.
All donations will go toward medical bills, bills and expenses to keep the Davidson family afloat while they took the time off to be with her, her hospice care and end of life arrangements.
Thank you to everyone for sharing, donating and sending prayers. It's very much appreciated by the Davidson family.
