Long Road Ahead for the Davidson Twins
Donation protected
As everyone knows Kenny and Kayla were expecting twin boys due on 3/26/2021. However, these boys decided they just couldn't miss Christmas and were unexpectedly born on 12/16/2020 via Emergency C-Section at OHSU at 25 and 1/2 weeks gestation. Colter John Davidson was born at 8:08am weighing 1lb 10.6 oz and Beau Tyler Davidson was born at 8:09am weighing 1lb 9.6oz.
Both boys are facing a long journey in the NICU at OHSU. They will not even be considered safe to go home until after their due date would have been (in late March). Additionally Beau has a heart condition that will require open heart surgery at some point during his first year of life at which point he will again have to be admitted to OHSU for around 6 weeks during his recovery.
After several scares, both of the boys are currently stable however they continue to require breathing support while their lungs and bodies continue to grow strong.
Currently Kayla and Kenny are living out of a camper at OHSU and only coming home for short amounts of time to do laundry before heading back to Portland. Given the expected length that the boys will be in the hospital it is likely that both Kenny and Kayla will be traveling between Philomath and Portland for at least the next 3 months with little time for things like work or socialization. This means in addition to their normal monthly bills they have extra costs of living in Portland on top of the mounting medical bills that the boys are facing with their extended stay in the NICU. Additionally since the boys were born so early Kayla has not been able to have a baby shower and there are many things that still need to be done before their house would even be ready for babies to come home (I mean they thought they had at least 12 more weeks before they even needed to worry about having these boys!).
At this time Kenny and Kayla ask for everyone to please give them space so that they can spend as much uninterrupted time with the boys as possible. Updates will be posted to this site as they come in.

It took a lot of convincing for Kenny and Kayla to agree for this GoFundMe to be made for the twins. However since multiple families have asked how they can help this new family we finally wore them down and got them to agree. We all know times are hard right now. Please do not feel obligated to donate however, any dollar makes a difference as this family has a long road ahead of them. Plus it is going to the CUTEST BOYS EVER.
