Help the Dashnaw's Pizzeria family

In the early morning hours on February 24th, Dashnaw's Pizzeria in the heart of Gouveneur had a devastating fire. The pizzeria was gutted and a complete loss. The Dashnaws are so grateful: to the person who reported the fire; for the quick response of the fire departments that ultimately saved the laundromat equipment; and that there were no injuries. They are also humbled by the kind words and care the community has shown thus far. 


While the Dashnaws work through the shock of the unexpected, heartbreaking loss of their business, plans are starting on how to rebuild the pizzeria. As a small, family-owned business, that will take time. While they work to get back to serving the community delicious pizza & meals, many have asked how they can assist the Dashnaws. Let’s give them a helping hand to help put food on the table, heat their home, pay their mortgage, and alleviate some stress until they are able to reopen their business.
