Help the Darrow Family with Medical Fees and Rent
Hayle and Joey Darrow welcomed their new baby boy Jaxson D. Darrow on June 28, 2021.
Due to some labor issues, Hayle had to have an emergency C section. After the birth, baby Jax was taken to the NICU for low glucose and while there, they discovered some breathing issues. After setting him up to EEGs they found that little Jax was having constant seizures, with only very short breaks in between. The medical teams at St. Charles got to work doing blood cultures, spinal taps, starting IV s, feeding tubes and breathing assistance to little man in the hopes of controlling his seizures to be able to get him into a MRI to find what might be the cause. As of July 6th, he is still heavily sedated with multiple medications and breathing assistance-- but has been seizure free for a few days thanks to medications!! hoping to get into an MRI this week.
Hayle was laid off of work mid pregnancy, during Covid and Joey works for an independent mechanic shop (with out the ability to use FMLA due to his employer having under 25 employees) Joey had saved up a week of Paid time off, but that is now over, and they are anticipating being off work at least until the end of July.
Hayle was discharged from the hospital and luckily they were able to get into the Ronald McDonald house to be close to baby Jax, but they still have a long road a head of them! The MRI will hopefully shine some light on what is happening with Jaxson, but it may require travel to OSHU or specialist doctors to help this little man thrive.
Please donate what you can to help the Darrow family pay bills and rent, as well as future medical costs for baby Jaxson. Help these Bend natives focus on their health, and the health of their new baby and not on the stress of job security, rent and unplanned medical bills.
