Melinda Dalton-Casey and Jennifer Dalton-Casey are two of the most genuinely selfless people I’ve ever known. If you’ve ever met them, you know their door is always open — they’ll feed anyone who’s hungry, give you the shirt off their back without hesitation, and never expect a single thing in return. Their kindness is simply who they are.

This past Thursday, tragedy struck. Their family of seven, along with their nephew and his 2-year-old son, lost absolutely everything in a sudden electrical fire. Their home… their belongings… treasured memories that can never be replaced — all gone in an instant.

I’m starting this GoFundMe because I want to help give them a chance to rebuild, to have a fresh start after the unimaginable. I love this family like my own, and it breaks my heart to see them facing this uphill battle.
