Help Support a Family in Crisis

Imagine your best friend collapsing during a workout, only to find out she had suffered both an aneurysm and a stroke. That’s the devastating reality for Spen’Sar. She is currently in the ICU, on strict bed rest, and will be undergoing several procedures to locate and stop the bleeding in her brain.

She’s a devoted stay-at-home mom to four young children, and her husband is their sole provider. To care for the kids during this critical time, he has taken Family Medical Leave which will be unpaid, meaning they’ll be without income while she is recovering from the aneurysm.

With no immediate family to lean on (Spensar’s parents passed when she was a child and she has no siblings or living family members), they are facing this financial emergency on their own.

We are raising funds to help cover their basic needs: rent, food, and transportation while she fights for her life and he holds their family together. Anything you can give — no matter how small — will make a difference during this incredibly difficult time.
