My parents would never come out and ask, but many have asked how they can help and my parents would never want to deny the blessing of others. For those that may not live close to drop off a meal or stop by, this is one way to help.
For three months, my mom has been battling breast cancer with weekly chemo and multiple tests, scans and appointments. Even though they pay for insurance, we all know it doesn’t cover 100%; there’s co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance costs.
Although chemo is coming end, surgery and possibly radiation is in the near future. My mom will also have immunotherapy injections and lab work every three weeks for a year, as well as follow up appointments and scans.
My dad is the sole provider and is self-employed and works diligently to provide; alleviating some of the added, stressful financial burden during this difficult time would be a huge blessing.
My mom is looking forward to getting past all this and, Lord willing, returning to coaching at BFHS.
I know my parents greatly appreciate all those that have already helped. God Bless!
