It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we have to share the unexpected passing of Edson Enrique Cumba Garzon on Monday, December 19, 2022. Edson was a husband, father, brother, uncle and son. Edson is survived by his loving wife Silvia Liliana, his talented son Juan Jose, his beautiful mother Aura Teresa, and his charming father Carlos Enrique,his brother Jhon Harold , his sister Inesorel, his nephews and nieces Joseline, Anthony, Steven, Matthew, Carlos Andres, Kimberly Tatiana, Galilea, Zoe, Diana, David Santiago, and Valerie.

Edson was born and raised in Colombia and after moving to the United States, started his own business while working at a medical laboratory in the evenings. He loved to watch the morning sunrise, enjoyed his wife’s laughter, was very proud of his son’s impressive school accolades/musical talents and took great pleasure in spending time with his family. He was blessed to have helped raise his brother, nieces and nephews.

With all of the emotional pain and stress that unexpected death brings, it can also bring financial burdens. We would like to raise money for Edson’s family to help with any funeral expenses, bills and unexpected costs.

It is in times of sadness and loss when people can come together to help one another make it through. Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Please keep Edson's family and son in your thoughts and prayers.

Es con gran tristeza y gran pesar que tenemos que compartir el inesperado fallecimiento de Edson Enrique Cumba Garzón el lunes 19 de diciembre de 2022. Edson era esposo, padre, hermano, tío e hijo. A Edson le sobreviven su amada esposa Silvia Liliana, su talentoso hijo Juan José, su hermosa madre Aura Teresa y su encantador padre Carlos Enrique, su hermano Jhon Harold, su hermana Inesorel, sus sobrinos y sobrinas Joseline, Anthony, Steven, Matthew, Carlos Andrés, Kimberly Tatiana, Galilea, Zoe, Diana, David Santiago y Valerie.

Edson nació y se crió en Colombia y después de mudarse a los Estados Unidos, comenzó su propio negocio mientras trabajaba en un laboratorio médico por las noches. Le encantaba ver el amanecer de la mañana, disfrutaba de la risa de su esposa, estaba muy orgulloso de los impresionantes elogios escolares/talentos musicales de su hijo y disfrutaba mucho pasar tiempo con su familia. Tuvo la bendición de haber ayudado a criar a su hermano, sobrinas y sobrinos.

Con todo el dolor emocional y el estrés que trae la muerte inesperada, también puede traer cargas financieras. Nos gustaría recaudar dinero para la familia de Edson para ayudar con los gastos del funeral, las facturas y los costos inesperados.

Es en momentos de tristeza y pérdida cuando las personas pueden unirse para ayudarse mutuamente a salir adelante. Cualquier apoyo que pueda proporcionar sería muy apreciado. Por favor, mantenga a la familia y al hijo de Edson en sus pensamientos y oraciones.
