Baby Gretta Hope was so eager to come to this earth that she came 6 weeks early, arriving January 5th. However, with preexisting heart conditions, her early arrival amplified the challenges her little body would face. After multiple surgeries to give her the best chance possible in this life, her little body couldn't fight anymore.

 

Gretta came and conquered all she needed to do - gain a body, experience breathing, and wear pearls - as every girl should do. She brought joy into the hearts of all those who loved her. Gretta was adored by her three older brothers and parents.

 

Her little body fought hard, but it eventually couldn’t keep up, returning to her heavenly home January 30th. Her parents feel like she came to them with a “Return to Sender” label attached, and as hard as they and the medical team tried to change that, no one could (and they tried hard)! If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever!
