My future father-in-law, Max Crist, and his family are in need of your support. Max was admitted to Gilbert Mercy Hospital on January 17th, 2022 with severely low oxygen levels caused by COVID-19 and has continued to fight for his life every day since. 

Max's wife, Janie, and their children have poured all of their time, energy, and resources into ensuring Max is appropriately cared for during his stay. Dealing with a loved one in the hospital is challenging in itself, but navigating these waters within the constraints of COVID-19 hospital protocol is an entirely different monster. For the Crist family, this has meant countless hours advocating for the treatments they believe in, fighting for visitation and patient rights, and sharing shifts to be with Max so that he has someone to speak on his behalf when the need arises.

 

The family's road ahead is long and unknown.
