I’m Sarah, owner of The Creative Studio York.. I’m reaching out for support to help cover the cost of unexpected repairs to one of the kilns and replace a pottery wheel that is almost at the end of its life.

UPDATE - Due to the costs to get the kiln working it has now been decided that the money would be better spent towards a new kiln. The old kiln was sold and this money has now been put into the fundraiser. A new kiln (the size needed for the studio) is around 5k, and alongside the go fund me, the studio will be having a fundraising open day on 18th April.

The studio is a space for creative, learning and community, we offer pottery classes and membership, and it means so much to be able to provide a welcoming space where people can come together, Learn new skills and unwind.

Im doing everything I can to keep things running smoothly, but these unexpected costs have been a challenge.

As many of you know the kilns are the heart of the studio, and without them we can’t fire the beautiful pieces created in the studio

Any contribution big or small, would make a huge difference, and help ensure The Creative Studio, can continue to serve our wonderful community.
