Hey friends. If you don’t know me, I’m Kaytee Crawford. I live in MN with my husband of 12.5 years and our 4 young boys.
I made this GoFundMe to help us get back on track after financial hardships. In May we had Covid and collectively were out of work for 3 weeks. Then in July, my husband lost his job and was the main breadwinner of the family. He’s been applying and interviewing, but nothing is coming up yet. We’re hopeful, but we’re also exhausted. We’re out of savings and supports and could use some help.
I am working overtime and am burning the candle at both ends. I’m also studying for a board exam in March and will possibly be starting college classes in the new year to go back to school.
While we’re constantly trying to look at the bright side, we’re also drowning in bills. My salary covers most utilities and our food for the month, but we need to get caught up on our mortgage and our car notes.
We’re hoping that if we’re successful with this fundraiser that we can pay off our past due car notes (they’re getting ready to repossess one of them) and get caught up on our mortgage. Anything extra will be used to weatherize our house and Christmas.
Thanks for reading and I’ll stop trauma dumping on you. I also believe that people should receive help even without having to share their trauma, yet here I am. I appreciate anything you can donate or if you can share this with everyone.
