Help the Cox Family Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire

On September 8, the Cox family suffered a devastating fire at their home on Rawson Avenue in South Milwaukee. Due to the extensive fire, smoke and water damage, the home is now structurally unsound. The family has been told it will not be habitable, and they are unable to return home.

Six adults, four children and three dogs who lived on separate levels of the home have now been displaced.

Ally, a dedicated Billy’s Posse volunteer and dear friend, lived on the lower level with her spouse and their two dogs. Their living space was completely destroyed, and they lost everything. The remaining family members were only able to grab what they could carry from the home in garbage bags.

This entire family is now being forced to start over with almost nothing.

We are working to provide their most immediate necessities, including clothing, food, bedding, air mattresses, toiletries and personal hygiene items. After those urgent needs are met, all additional money raised will go toward securing safe housing for the family while they are unable to return home.

Every dollar raised will go directly to the Cox family. No amount is too small, and every donation will help provide stability and hope during this heartbreaking and uncertain time.
