Help the Counter Culture Staff!

Donations to this campaign will directly benefit all 23 hourly employees at Counter Culture. Your generosity will ensure that our staff can pay bills, buy groceries, and maintain ourselves through the temporary closure. Our goal is $1000 for each employee. 

Counter Culture has been an integral part of the East Austin and vegan communities for over a decade. We're an independent business consisting of a small handful of hard-working people. 

Our owner, Sue, has offered us some cleaning shifts and food to eat, but this won't last us very long. Plus, she still has to account for rent, bills, insurance, and other monthly expenses to keep Counter Culture around even while our doors are closed and we're not making any sales. Your donations will not only benefit the staff, but will also take some of the burden off of Sue's shoulders.

We hope to implement a to-go and small catering menu when the atmosphere is right but for now we think everyone should be staying in as much as possible, including our staff.

We appreciate any help keeping roofs over our heads and food on our tables. We'll be ready to cook and serve you some of the best vegan comfort food when this crisis is behind us.
