Help the Cougarbots go to World Championships!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Carrie Northum and I have the distinct pleasure of being the mentor for the Cougarbots, the local competition robotics team from San Ysidro High School. Through robotics competitions, students in our community are able to dream up robot designs, physically create them, and write custom software to control them all while learning valuable skills to help them become future leaders in the local technology and manufacturing industries. All of these are valuable skills for the students at our Title I school to achieve success in college and beyond.
After a fantastic season, and a very successful day at California State Championships we recently qualified to compete at the World Championships on April 23-28 in Dallas, Texas. This is a big deal for our school and community, but we need your help. Our team is always in need of parts and tools, and entry and travel fees add up quickly. The cost for our team to compete at Worlds is about $5,000.
Any donation is very appreciated and will help our team. Those that donate at least $100 will have their name/logo printed on our sponsor banner, $250 or more will also have their name/logo printed on our shirts, and donors of $500 or more will have a logo on our robots in the competition.
If you would like your donation to be tax deductible, rather than contributing to this Go Fund Me you should make out a check to SYH ASB- Robotics Club and mail it to SYH Robotics 5353 Airway Drive, San Diego CA 92154.
