If you know Phil and Shirley, chances are that they've somehow helped you. Whether it be feeding you, fixing something that needed fixing, picking you up when you needed a ride, or just putting a smile on your face when you felt down, the Cottons have never hesitated to help people that needed it.
Over the past month, Phil and Shirley have hit some difficult times. Shirley fell quite ill and has been at Hoag Hospital for almost the entire month of January, and culminated with her recent surgery on January 29th. The healing process will be long. Needless to say, she has missed work having exhausted all her sick days, and Phil has also needed to take lots of time off to be with his wife. This all coupled with piling up medical bills has brought inevitable financial difficulties.
We'd ask that if you find it in your heart, to please help 2 people that have always been there to help others. We (their kids), and them are of course reluctant to ask and would not unless absolutely necessary. Thank you.
