✨ Help Support the Cotten Family Through an Unexpected Crisis ✨
Our dear friend, Samantha Cotten Trowbridge, is eight months pregnant and working as a school bus driver while being the sole provider for her household. On top of preparing to welcome their first child, she also cares for her mother and her young nephew, all while helping maintain their small family farm of pigs, cows, and chickens.
Recently, their lives were changed in an instant. Samantha’s husband, Matthew Cotten, was involved in a severe dirt bike accident that left him with multiple serious injuries. He has already undergone one major surgery and currently has external fixation bars stabilizing his bones while he prepares for his second surgery. Matthew is now wheelchair-bound and will be unable to work for at least the next six months.
Matthew is a hardworking laborer and a familiar face in their community, and his sudden inability to work has placed tremendous strain on the family—especially with a baby arriving soon.
With winter approaching, medical recovery ahead, and both Samantha and Matthew soon unable to work, they are facing extreme financial hardship. They are doing everything in their power to stay afloat, care for their animals, and prepare for their first child. But this situation has become more than they can manage alone.
We are asking our community to come together and support this family during this incredibly difficult time.
Your donation will help with:
• Medical and recovery costs
• Household bills and essential expenses
• Farm feed and winter supplies
• Baby necessities and lost maternity income
• Transportation and accessibility needs while Matthew heals
The Cotten family has always shown kindness, resilience, and generosity to those around them. Now it is our turn to lift them up.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign. Every bit of support makes a meaningful difference. ❤️
Thank you for helping bring hope, stability, and relief to Samantha, Matthew, and Baby Cotten during this challenging season.
