Help the Coste family through this tragedy.

Donation protected
Hi my name is Chris Addy I recently made the aquantance of this incredible young man named Kris Coste. He is a Contractor on the Sunshine Coast with whom I work. Last night tragedy befell Kris as he was working on site pouring a concrete pool; the boom on the truck failed, and Kris was crushed under it's weight. He has suffered many fractured bones througgout his body, and is now in critical care and on life support in Vancouver. His family, wife Jeanine, and beautifull young children Francis (Franky), and Cala Coste are very worried about their dad.
Those of you that have had the privilage of getting to know Kris know what a wondetrfull person he is. He helps many elderly people in the community and is always there to help a neighbour or friend.and He is an incredible father and valued member of our community! That is why I have taken it upon myself to encourage this community to rise up and support one of our own. Please donate. Our wishes are with the family and my prayers are with Kris now so that he can hang on, and make it through this! I know his biggest concern would be for his kids and wife, so please help me to help him ease those conserns and give the family the support they need right now. I would like to thank the following buissness whom hwve allready stept up to help Halfmoon Bay General store, Rona and hope to see the rest of the community follow there lead.. Thank you for your support!

An update from Jeanine
Hi friends and family and friends of friends and family and kind strangers. I wanted to say a thank you to all who have donated to us, set up the Go-Fund-Me and all the donation bins, sent messages of love, brought food, helped with the kids, taken in my dog & cat, cleaned and cared for my house & yard, stayed up all night with me, held Kris's hand for hours on end and SO much more. You all have been our survival. There are no words to express the gratitude I feel.
Kris is a true miracle. We've been calling him Ironman because he has been a superhero through this whole tragedy. Also he is now full of metal. He's had 8 surgeries with at least 2 more to come. He had severe damage to his liver and kidneys but they are all starting to heal, although he is still on dialysis and the ventilator. He has been fighting several infections which continue to be the biggest threat to his recovery. However, he is now conscious! He nods his head, gives thumbs up, mouths words, smiles when I play messages from Calla, and often is extremely pissed off that he is stuck in bed. I've never been so happy to see his frown though. His road is still very long and uncertain but right now I am thankful for every little step forward and all the amazing nurses, doctors, paramedics and firefighters who have gotten him this far. I hope one day I get the chance to pay back every ounce of kindness that has been showered on us. THANK YOU ❤️
