Honoring Teri: Support for her son

Dear Friends and Supporters,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Teri Cosio, affectionately known as “Teribeari702”.

Teri was an amazing mother, sister and daughter. She was my best friend of 15 years.

In late 2019, Teri was diagnosed with breast cancer. She endured radiation, chemotherapy and multiple surgeries. By 2022 the cancer metastasized to her liver, lungs and brain. She fought tirelessly but ultimately lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, April 29th, 2023.

Those who knew Teri remember her as an amazing person- cheerful, friendly, funny and full of life. She was an integral part of the DJ community as a moderator. Her dedication to others was unparalleled. She touched the lives of so many people.

Those of us fortunate enough to know Teri know that she would do anything to make sure the people she cared about were taken care of. She was an incredible mother who devoted her life to her son.

Teri leaves behind a son with autism who will need ongoing care and support. As a community, we can come together to help provide for him and make sure he receives the care he needs to thrive.

We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to support Teri’s son, Adrien. All funds raised will assist the Cosio family in providing for his continued care. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and will be greatly appreciated by her family.

In lieu of a service, we will be holding a virtual tribute for Teri on the Twitch.tv platform on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023. Teri’s brother, Andy, will kick off the tribute at 12p PDT with many of her favorite DJs to follow. Please see flyer for the lineup and additional details.
