Hi friends! Anyone who knows my husband, Greyson, knows he’s always struggled with health issues. Since we got married, almost 5 months ago, they’ve gotten worse, and old issues are arising. One of those is seizures. At this rate, he is having a serious one about once every week, and some have led to hitting his head on the floor and other small injuries. While we are getting some of the answers we need for his health, we recognize that the diagnosis of Epilepsy does not bring complete healing to the condition. Seizures are always going to be a part of our lives, and he will risk hurting himself every time he has one. To help make conditions safer, we are trying to get a service dog. These dogs are trained to sense when a seizure is coming and alert the person/help keep them safe if it happens. Because I can’t be around all the time to make sure the surroundings are safe, having a trained dog with him will create the safest environment. This is a very expensive investment, so we are looking to others for some help. I will be raising money through my art small business, and any help to fill the gap is so appreciated.
