Help the Cortes Family with House Fire Expenses

Hi, my name is Amber Cortes. My husband and I are teachers in Oklahoma City, and we have 4 children between the ages of 11 and 21. Wednesday, April 26th at 2:00 AM, our child’s bedroom caught fire. We are so lucky that she woke up in time and alerted us so that we could all get out safely. She knew to shut the door to contain the fire, and even the fire inspector said this is what kept the entire house from burning down. We are extremely grateful that we are all still breathing and that we have each other. This could have been much worse! As lucky as we are, unfortunately, we are now having a hard time paying for our living expenses and keeping up with bills. We also have a $10,000 home insurance deductible to contend with. We would be extremely grateful for any help at all to be able to pay bills, buy groceries, and replace some necessities for the 6 people in our household.
