Help the Cordero Family Rebuild Their Home
Donation protected
We are the Cordero family. We never imagined we would find ourselves in such a desperate situation, but life has brought us to a point where we need to reach out for help. Our home, which was once a sanctuary of warmth and love, has extensive water damage that led to a mold infestation. Our lives have been turned upside down.
We are a hard-working couple who have strived to own a home and grow a family and provide a safe place for our son. But things took a drastic turn when we discovered mold that affects almost every inch of our home.
The mold has caused serious health issues for our entire family and has been a growing concern as Johnny's immune system is compromised from a previous battle with stage 4 cancer. We have all had countless doctor's visits and medical treatments, all while trying to keep up with our daily responsibilities.
The emotional toll has been equally devastating. We were forced to move into temporary housing while the mold was remediated, which has added to our financial strain and disrupted our sense of stability and security for us and our son.
To add to our distress, we have learned that the previous company that owned the home knew about these issues and failed to disclose them when selling the house to us. They blatantly lied about the moisture problems and the age of the roof, leaving us unaware of the dangers lurking within our home. The deceit has added to our struggles, making us feel betrayed and helpless.
The cost of addressing these damages exceeds our financial capabilities. The costs of professional remediation, extensive home repairs, and medical costs have depleted our savings and put us in an unsettling situation. Despite our best efforts, we just cannot afford these overwhelming expenses on our own.
We are reaching out to our community to help in this critical time. Any amount you can contribute will make a profound difference in our lives. Your support will not only help us address the immediate dangers posed by mold but will also allow us to start rebuilding our lives and our home. If you are unable to donate, sharing our story with others would mean the world to us and could help us reach our goal.
We are grateful for your kindness and generosity. Your support gives us hope and brings us closer to a future where we can once again feel safe and healthy in our home.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering helping us in our time of need. From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate your compassion and support.
