Help the Coppolas Rebuild their Lives

Hello, my name is Jim. I am starting this fundraiser because recently my longtime friend was hospitalized with COVID Pneumonia and his family has been impacted financially because of this. I first met Craig in 1990 when he tried out for a vacant guitarist position in a band I sang for. We hit it off early and became close friends. Over the years, I have watched him get married, was there when both his sons were born, and I am even Godfather to his oldest son Michael. As friends we both have similar musical tastes and our careers are in application and web development. He moved his family here to South Carolina so he and his family could have a better life. His family recently just built a home inland from the beach.

Unfortunately, the last few years, healthwise have not been so good to him. He has recently become disabled because of a medical condition and most recently contracted the deadly Coronavirus and has been hospitalized now for almost 3 weeks. His condition has been up and down and he has been ventilated.

I have know him for 31 years and been part of his family for almost 30. The is in fear of all the unknowns right now; his condition and their future financially. Long-term care in the ICU can run medical expenses upwards around $100,000, even with insurance. These are the reasons for starting this fundraiser for the family.

Any amount would be appreciated, and once complete, the family will receive 100% of the proceeds minus the percentage Go Fund Me takes out. And of course I will keep everyone updated as to his condition.
