My name is Bob Cook, many of you know me as The Cooker, a nickname giving to me by the late great Legendary Terry Funk in 1986 from my time in professional wrestling, and just recently, this past Tuesday Dec 2nd, I suffered a heart attack that completely turned my world upside down. Following the Heart Attack they had to put life saving stents in with the hopes I'll be on the road to recovery for a better quality of life moving.

This past week brought an unexpected turn. My wife and I have chosen to part ways. The weight of everything became too much, and she feels overwhelmed and burdened by the circumstances surrounding my health. While all the details as to why will remain private in order to not paint her in a even more unfavorable light, whether she deserves it or not, this separation stands as another profound challenge placed along my road to healing and long-term triumph.

Still, this is not a story of defeat—it’s a story of rebirth.

I’m learning that resilience isn’t just about surviving a crisis; it’s about adapting, rebuilding, and finding peace in new spaces when familiar ones fall away. In this fragile moment, I’ve been reminded that strength often comes from places we don’t anticipate.

Without the guidance, love, and steady support of my niece Amanda during this difficult time, the path forward would feel far less certain. Her presence has been a quiet anchor—proof that even when one chapter closes, others step forward with light and compassion.
