My sister Whitney, her husband Jason, and my two nieces, Briley (12) and Paige (10), experienced a devastating fire at their home. While they were all at home, Jason’s work truck unexpectedly caught fire. Jason and their neighbors did everything they could to stop and contain the fire, but icy road conditions delayed the firefighters’ arrival. Because of this, the fire spread from the truck to the house, causing significant damage to half of their home.

This has been a heartbreaking and overwhelming experience for their family. Not only did they lose many of their essential belongings, but Jason’s work truck was also a vital part of their household income. Without it, they are facing additional financial stress as they try to recover and rebuild.
