Hello all, my name is Eileen Contreras and I currently attend college in California and the oldest daughter of Joel Contreras. With a sad heart both me and my younger sister lost our father, age 38, on Saturday, April 27th. He fought bravely against cancer and won - ultimately passing away from complications, surrounded by his loving family. Joel was a successful mortgage broker, a devoted father to the two of us and a cherished brother. He will be deeply missed by his parents, extended family, and countless friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and laughter. He loved spending time with us and showing us around our beautiful city of Chicago. Our father was in the hospital for weeks, because of this we are raising funds to help our grandparents pay for medical bills and his celebration of life.
