Help the Conner Family Through Arthur’s Recovery

Support Baby Arthur & the Conner Family

Mid last week, Forrest and Jenna Conner’s 19-month-old son, Arthur, suddenly spiked an extremely high fever. Jenna rushed him to the emergency room, where extensive testing revealed that Arthur had contracted a very rare bacterial infection that had entered his bloodstream.

Initially, doctors were hopeful they had caught the infection early enough and that it had not spread to his brain. Arthur was immediately started on an aggressive course of antibiotics and admitted to the hospital, with a tentative discharge date of Wednesday, February 11th. For several days, he remained stable and showed encouraging signs, giving everyone hope that the treatment was working.

Sadly, late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning (February 4th–5th), Arthur began running a fever again. The medical team acted quickly, concerned that the bacteria might not be responding to the antibiotics, though they also considered the possibility of a virus he may have contracted while hospitalized. During further testing — including a CT scan — doctors discovered that the infection had spread to his head and that there was fluid on his brain.

On Friday, February 6th, Arthur underwent a spinal tap, as doctors believe he has developed meningitis. He is currently in the ICU under close observation following the procedure. Due to these complications, the family has been informed that his hospital stay will be significantly extended, though there is no clear timeline at this time.

Forrest and Jenna have completely put their lives on hold to remain by their son’s side as he quite literally fights for his life. Forrest is self-employed, meaning if he is not working, he is not earning income — there is no PTO, sick leave, or financial safety net. Jenna does have some paid leave available, but it is quickly running out.

This family of four — including their amazing daughter, Ellowyn — are some of the kindest, most hardworking, and genuinely good people you could ever meet. They would never ask for help themselves, which is why this GoFundMe has been created on their behalf. They deserve to focus entirely on their children without the added fear of financial survival during this unimaginable time.

If you are able to support Baby Arthur and the Conner family financially, any amount truly helps and is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to give, prayers, positive thoughts, and words of encouragement for Arthur and his family mean just as much.

Thank you so much for your love, support, and compassion. ❤️
