Many of you have contacted us to ask how things are going following the earthquake that hit the whole Al Haouz region.

Damage is limited to Douar Samra and our entire team is in good health. It's still a little early to really assess the impact on the whole valley, which mainly depends on tourism for its livelihood.

Some people have asked how they can support in this specific context. We are proposing this fund-raising campaign to help all those in our community who need it. Over and above the material damage, the next few months are likely to be difficult, as it will take time for tourism activities to recover.

The funds and their use will be the responsibility of Jacqueline, owner and founder of Douar Samra.
