Help the Coombes Family Through a Tough Time
If you know Zane and Becky Coombes, you know they are the heart of Iowa Park. Whether it’s organizing benefit fish fries, showing up with a helping hand, or just being a shoulder to lean on, they are always the first to serve and the last to ask for anything in return. Now, they’re facing a season of unexpected hardship, and it’s our turn to show up for them.
Zane and Becky are proud parents to three amazing teenagers—Cross, Micah, and Brylee. Micah, who is active in FFA, basketball, and volleyball, recently suffered a serious knee injury. Her doctors have determined that surgery is the only way for her to fully heal and get back to doing what she loves.
As life would have it, Zane just started a new job and is currently in the waiting period before his health insurance coverage kicks in. That means this surgery, and the physical therapy that follows, will come entirely out of pocket—at a time when their family is already stretched thin.
Zane and Becky have poured their hearts and souls into this community for years. If you’ve ever been to one of the many community benefit fish fries, chances are they were behind it. They’ve shown up time and time again for others. You won’t meet a more generous, compassionate family.
Now, we have a chance to give back.
We’re raising funds to help cover Micah’s surgery, recovery costs, and any other financial burdens the Combs family might face during this time. Any amount helps—whether it’s $5 or $500, your support means the world. If you can’t give right now, please consider sharing this with others who might be able to.
Let’s rally around this incredible family and remind them that the love they’ve sown in our community is being returned tenfold.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
