Help the Columbia Secondary School Robotics team!

Hello, my name is Tristan and I am a senior at Columbia Secondary School and I have been on the Robotics team for 4 years. CSS is an NYC public school, located in Harlem, known for its excellent STEM program and its academically talented students. Our robotics team is part of the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). This has given many of us great opportunities to work with large machines as well, it has given us an introduction to STEM and engineering. As a STEM school, the robotics team is a great opportunity to dive into the engineering world! Many of our robotics alumni are now in the best engineering schools such as RIT, Columbia, and MIT, largely thanks to the robotics team for helping them find their interests.

For the first time since its creation, the robotics team is now fully operated within CSS and we are now taking on many of the responsibilities that outside parties had in the past. FRC robotics teams require a lot of support and funding, and we need to pay for competition fees and parts. We are a team full of talent and with the right resources to practice in the best setting, we can perfect our skills. As a senior, I hope I can help my team have a winning year and make it a memorable one for all of us. Thus, we are asking for your help to raise funds for our registration fees, parts, and future expenses. Every penny helps us participate in the competition we love. Thank you!
