Hello Central Oregon Community,

One of our most beloved families, The Coler Family - Gabe, Julie, Alden & Soren, are going through a tough time after Gabe had a traumatic mountain biking accident in Canada on Friday October 2nd. Although Gabe is safe and now recovering, he had to be heli transported to Vancouver for trauma care and has undergone multiple facial surgeries. He will need dental work and rehab once he returns to Central Oregon. This will be a lengthy recovery which will impact the Coler family immensely. As many of you know, Gabe Coler is a well loved and integral member of the outdoors community in Central Oregon - he leads the forecasting team at The Central Oregon Avalanche Center, where he has helped grow this invaluable resource since it's inception. He is also an IFMGA mountain guide and avalanche educator. Gabe is a leader, mentor and friend to many in our local community and beyond.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help support them with medical, travel, living and other expenses that will impact them as a result of this accident. If you can offer any support to them during this challenging time I know they would be very grateful.
