During the first week of May, Michael became ill with what we thought was a bad chest cold or flu. After many weeks , 3 visits with doctors and many rounds of tests & medications his condition worsened drastically. On Saturday, June 22nd Michael was hospitalized in very serious condition with a very troubling case of pneumonia.  Unfortunately, his condition means he will take a very long time to recover and will be in the hospital for an unknown amount of time. While we work as a family to support him, we ask that you consider helping us with easing the burden of financial need. Michael will most likely require treatments that need expensive equipment and medications for months after he is discharged, and because he is such a hardworking father and husband, he is our main source of income.  

Thank you to everyone who has reached out directly to us, and through family, to give your love and support.  We are focusing on the positive and taking each day as it comes. Thank you to our village who has come from far and wide to lend extra love for the girls and I as we cope with this drastic change in our lives. Michael is a stubborn fighter, and we will love him through this.
