Hi there! I'm Rachel and, together with the wonderful ponies, here at Coeden Bywyd Horse Project we provide mentoring and well-being sessions for young people who are struggling with their mental health, with school and with circumstances in their lives. We are a safe place for these young people to belong and discover the significance and value of their lives as they work with our ponies to build confidence and positive relationships.

We provide our sessions at no cost to the young people as we want every young person to have the opportunity to experience the life-giving joy that the horses offer regardless of their ability to pay.

We are planning to do a walk/climb at Pen y Fan on Saturday, October 3 to raise money to enable the project to feed the ponies and for the ponies to keep helping young people. Some of the young people will be joining me for the climb to the top of Pen y Fan.

For many of these wonderful young people this will be quite a challenge, and for them the time with the horses is a very significant part of their week. Please support us to provide for the ponies and to keep giving to these young people. Thank you!
