It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of my beloved father, Jose Refugio Cobian Mendez, who left us to be with God on July 14th, 2025. He was our everything-our rock, our anchor, our source of joy. He loved his family more than anything— he worked his entire life to give us the best life he never had. We loved him more than anything in this world, and he loved us more.

Arranging a proper farewell for him is deeply important to our family, but the unexpected costs of funeral and burial expenses are beyond overwhelming. That’s why we have created this GoFundMe: to ask for any help and support as we do our best to honor my dad with the respect he deserves.
