Help the Clifton's cover X's medical bills

Donation protected

This little adorable guy is Xavier, we call him "X". He is the child of my awesome friends Josh and Megan Clifton. A couple of nights ago X had too be rushed to the ER because he was extremely lethargic and not acting like himself. Many tests were ran and it quickly became obvious that he was in critical condition. His blood count was extremely high and if the Clifton's had not acted quickly he would not still be here. As it turns out, he has Type 1 Diabetes and is on his way back to recovery. This presents many new challenges for their family as they learn to properly care for him.

As you can imagine, all of this was extremely unexpected and has caused many extra expenses for the Clifton's. Everything from ER to ambulance fees. He will have to be treated and given medical attention at least through the end of the week. Josh, Megan and their family are some of the most amazing people I have ever met and I know they would give anything for their friends, I feel trying to help support them financially through this difficult time is the least we can do. If you can spare any amount of money to help support them, it will be appreciated way more than I can ever express.

Below is taken from a post by Megan Clifton to give you a more in depth look on the situation:

”We have some amazing friends. Josh and I experienced one of the scariest things recently when we almost lost our baby boy. X had been dealing with a throat infection that snowballed and led to an autoimmune response and triggered diabetes. That of which we would have eventually dealt with at some point in his life they said but no one could have expected at 10 months old. By the help of God, prompting of the Holy spirit and several amazing teams of medical professionals we are winning the battle. Xavier has improved tremendously and continues to daily. X and I are out of the ICU but have been in the hospital since Sunday.
We will remain in the hospital until they are able to get him stable and both of us fully prepared to take on this new challenge of type 1 diabetes . Unfortunately it has kept Josh and I from work so money has become part of it. Not knowing what this journey will be financially, we appreciate your love and support in that. But knowing that God has already won the battle and will strengthen us through it. Knowing that we have the community of people behind us and our kids makes it all easier to take on. Thank you all for the calls, texts, encouragement, words of wisdom and experience, food train, gifts to his room and of course prayers. We love you and as soon as X is back to his smiley self we will see you.”
