Help the MFA Class of 2022 get new Headshots!!
Donation protected
Hello! Hope everyone is well. We are the class of 2022 at the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. We will be graduating in May and joining the proverbial “real world”.
We’re looking to raise funds to help jumpstart our careers when we leave school. The funds would help our class get new headshots, costs for classes (the learning never stops), and maybe a down payment on a new apartment as we move to different cities.
We all made the move down to Sarasota in the summer/fall of 2019. It’s been a wild ride since! From navigating a pandemic, that brought our classes online towards the end of our first year. Moving into second year, we were completely online. Our 4-show season was cut in half and also moved online. In all of this, important issues were brought to light in regards to the conservatory and the arts as a whole. Which has brought about necessary change for the betterment of our program and the arts in its entirety.
Our third year has shaped out to be quite exciting so far! We’ve gotten the chance to do live theatre again in Asolo Rep’s touring production of Much Ado About Nothing and Asolo Rep’s upcoming production of Hair! We’re also getting the wonderful opportunity to study in London for 6 weeks next summer!
The pandemic has taken away lot, but has also given a lot. If you’re willing and more so able to donate, please do! We appreciate you taking the time to learn a little bit about our class!
Warmest regards,
FSU Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training Class of 22’
P.S.-If you are in town or traveling to Sarasota, please be sure to follow us on social media. We will be having several events around the community open to all where you could come meet us and get to know us.
