Help The Clamor Continue Educating and Organizing

The Clamor is an independent periodical zine and research collective with a focus on culture, art, history, and theory started in West Lafayette, Indiana. First circulated in January of 2025 across Purdue’s campus, we aim to educate, agitate, organize, and liberate — to stimulate minds towards engaging directly, creatively, and spontaneously in forming new collective histories and practice, by and for the people. Our goal is to foster a culture of communal education, critical thought, creative production, and collective action.

Since beginning in 2025, we've published a total of six issues on a range of topics including Black Liberation, Feminism and Women's Liberation, Palestine, radical creativity, and imperialism & decolonization.

To date, The Clamor has operated solely as a zine funded out of pocket, through donations, and with any proceeds garnered from purchases of print issues. With our running operation fund, we plan to maintain coverage of paper and printing costs, while simultaneously channeling funds towards constructive, community-guided direct actions.

Our primary expenditures to date have included paper, vendor fees, and food supplies for use in community education sessions. Planned uses of funds in the future include the continued purchase of print supplies (i.e. paper, printer, posters) and public infrastructure supplies (i.e. asphalt paint, paint rollers).
