Hi everyone!

We created this fundraiser to help our best friend’s parents recover after losing everything to the disastrous flooding caused by Hurricane Ida. On September 1st, their home and the vast majority of their possessions were ravaged by 4 feet of surging sewage water; They watched helplessly as decades of hard work and memories were irrevocably destroyed. 

Sherry and Joe Cipollone, who was Ardsley’s Fire Chief, along with their daughters Nicole and Lisa, are long time pillars in the community. They have each worked so hard and selflessly for everything they have, and never miss an opportunity to step up when those of us lucky enough to know them are in need. They would never ask for help, so we’re doing it for them. 

Their entire place needs to be fully gutted: the floors, walls, radiators, and appliances need to be replaced, as well as all of their furniture, clothing and personal items. They have literally lost everything due to how pervasive flood damage is. 

We know so many are experiencing their own heartbreaks at the moment, but if you are comfortable and able we humbly ask for contributions toward helping Sherry and Joe to rebuild their lives and overcome this tremendous challenge. Simply your sharing this and continuing to keep the Cipollones in your thoughts and prayers would be incredibly appreciated.
