Help the Cifuentes Family Fight COVID
Hello, my name is Stacey Rayburn. I am writing to tell you about a very special family in need of help.
Last Wednesday, life threw our family yet another curve ball. Gabriel fell ill and was diagnosed with COVID. The very next day my sister ( Susanne) also got diagnosed with COVID. My poor family was hit with a double whammy. Both Gabriel and my sister tried so very hard to fight COVID at home, but we’re unable to do so. Again only one day apart from each other they were both admitted to Grandview hospital.
Gabriel was taken my ambulance to Grandview and placed on a bypap in the ICU. He is no longer on a bypap, but is still extremely sick and fighting for his life. He is the one of the strongest men that I know and COVID has knocked him down. My sister was also taken by ambulance to Grandview the very next day. This left their 9 year old precious son in my care.
Gabriel is the the SOLE provider for this family and is still fighting for his life. He will be out of work for unknown amount of time. He also does not have any health insurance coverage to cover his ICU stay or the ambulance ride. He has always worked so very hard to provide a life for his family and right now he is unable to do so leaving a lot of financial burden.
My sister is set to be released from the hospital on Saturday July 24th , but still has a long road to full recovery.
Their son Tristin age 9, will be going into the 4th grade in August. As you can imagine, they won’t have the funds to cover school clothes or supplies at all.
If you know my sister or Gabriel personally, you know that they would do anything for anyone. They truly are the most giving people and have the biggest hearts of anyone that I know.
If you feel led to do so, please bless them in any way that you are able to. My family greatly appreciates the love, thoughts, and prayers during this time.
